At 6:13 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, Munsey Park residents received word of a water main break on Park Avenue east of Abbey. (Please note the roadway is Abbey North)  Residents in the area are being contacted via email and those directly affected by MLWD personnel that their water will be shut off.  

Residents are urged to make preparations and fill up bathtubs and several pots of water to have available during the the repairs.

Crews are gathering on the scene and Park Avenue might be closed shortly  from Abbey North to Martin Place once all household have been notified if the area is deemed dangerous.  According to village officials, the households affected will be from Abbey Road to Morse Lane.
