Manhasset Locale For Warner Brothers Film


Jane_FondaMunsey Park was the setting for the newly released Warner Brothers film This is where I leave you airing in theaters on Friday, Sept. 19.  The movie which was derived from best selling novel written by Jonathan Tropper is about a family who has drifted apart and has to come together to fulfill the patriarch final wish and sit Shiva for a week.

Jason Bateman who plays Judd Altman, the deceased son, is newly divorced, newly jobless and has to travel home to face his dysfunctional family, including his hot-to-trot psychiatrist mom, his sarcastic older brother, his unhappy sister and his too-perfect younger brother in an effort to see if family bonds will prevent them from killing one another.  The screenplay is directed by Shawn Levy.

The Manhasset village has used as a filming location  for Mr. and Mrs. Smith and The Good Shepherd, and has been used for episodes of The Good Wife.
