Take Me Out To The Annual Triple Play Classic

Manhasset is known for its athletics and Manhasset baseball and softball are no exception. These organizations, in association with Manhasset Booster Club and Manhasset PAL, are making great strides to increase the interest and following for other spring sports.

The seventh annual Triple Play Classic held on April 21 was the largest event for the Manhasset baseball and softball communities. The event began with the varsity team winning against Transit Tech with a score of 6-0 with Joe Gabriele getting his first varsity win.

During the day there were many opportunities to win prizes and raffles, including Mets and Yankees tickets.

A brisk business of Manhasset clothing sponsored by the Booster Club was on sale. An inflatable bouncing cast with a ladder climb was at the event to entertain the kids.
