Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth recently attended a St. Baldrick’s Benefit that took place at Plandome Haircutters on April 15. This year marked the second annual Manhasset Head Shaving Bonanza that was spearheaded by Logan Panzik, a Manhasset Middleschooler. Bosworth celebrated the young leaders for supporting St. Baldrick’s mission to fund childhood cancer research.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer- and donor-driven charity that funds and supports research to find cures for childhood cancers. The organization raised over $35 million in 2017, and has raised over $25 million to date in 2018. To donate online, visit their website at www.stbaldricks.org.
