Anton Community Newspapers will be publishing a special supplement section on July 4 in honor of local veterans. This supplement will include profiles, organization information and resources, and of course, lots of photos of those who serve and have served.
Submit your photo of your family’s veterans, preferably in uniform.
Email a high-resolution jpg or other digital file to Christy Hinko at chinko@antonnews.com or mail a hard-copy original with a SASE for return to: Christy Hinko, Anton Newspapers—Veteran Salute, 132 E. 2nd Street, Mineola, NY 11501, before Wednesday, June 18.
All photos must include the name of the veteran. Add in any additional information known: location/date of photo, rate/rank/branch, war era, dates of service, where the veteran is from or lives now locally.
