Primary Elections Thursday, Sept. 10

voteThe League of Women Voters of Port Washington-Manhasset reminds voters primary elections will take place on Thursday, Sept. 10. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. (please note time change).
Voters can vote with absentee ballots up until the day before election, Wednesday, Sept. 9. The board of election will extend its hours the Saturday before, Sept. 5, for absentee ballot pick-up and voting from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 3, is the last day to post an application for an absentee ballot. Wednesday, Sept. 9 is the last day to apply in person at the BOE for an absentee ballot and the last day to deliver the completed ballot in person.
Registered voters should have received a postcard recently that indicates the polling place address. The information can be found on the LWV interactive website Vote411.org. The Nassau County BOE is at 240 Old Country Road in Mineola 11501.
