forecast
The North Shore of Nassau County, marked in white, is excluded from any weather advisories Sunday.

Finally the forecast works in our favor.

After a series of storms that have hit the North Shore of Long Island hardest, Sunday’s snowfall, expected to drop up to 8 inches in eastern Suffolk County, will only leave  a total of 1 to 3 inches on the North Shore of Nassau County, according to the National Weather Service.

The snow is expected to roll in after noon Sunday with a total daytime accumulation of no more than 3 inches.
