Ladies Raise Funds For I.N.N.


eventNorth Hempstead Country Club was the scene of the ladies Christmas luncheon earlier this month.

The lavish affair hosted rooms full of vendors to make every Christmas wish come true especially those of the Interfaith Nutrition Network which was this year’s beneficiary of this philanthropic luncheon. Co-Chairs Patti Milo and Pam Gill did a fabulous job of putting together a marvelous event. Proceeds from the raffles were generously donated to the I.N.N. Executive Director Jean Kelly.

During this time of economic upheaval, the Interfaith Nutirition Network is a beacon of hope to those who have felt the effects of the sluggish economy, Superstorm Sandy as well as adverse circumstances.

Elizabeth Johnson is former editor of Manhasset Press and Manhasset Press Magazine.
