How To Sell Your Invention

Nassau County Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club will host TV infomercial expert John Hurley at its Oct. 20 meetingHurley, merchandising coordinator at AllStar Products Group LLC, of Hawthorne, New York, a leading DRTV (direct response television) company, will discuss ways to get inventions sold on television and explain what it takes to get a product labeled with the sticker “As Seen on TV.”  

 

AllStar has a track record of getting new products into successful television campaigns and is the company behind Snuggie, Bendaroos, Topsy Turvy, Perfect Brownie, Perfect Pancake, Pasta Pro, Bumpits, GripGo, Hot Buns, Forever Comfy and more.

The Nassau Country Industrial Development Agency and entrepreneur Brian Fried, of Melville, organized the Nassau County Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club early in 2012 and since then its events have attracted more than 2,500 attendees.

The meeting takes place on October 20thfrom 7 – 9 p.m., in the Ceremonial Chambers of the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building located at 1550 Franklin Ave. in Mineola.  Admission is free.
