Halloween Comes To Plandome Road On October 24

The Manhasset Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its first Trick-or-Treat Halloween on Plandome Road. This free community event will take place Sunday, Oct. 24. To create a festive atmosphere, the chamber has already decorated the planters on Plandome Road with Halloween decorations in preparation for the event.

Event kick-off and fun will begin at Mary Jean Davies Green Park at 1 p.m., which will include a Magic Show by Georgie Porgie Magic, sponsored by Enchanted Parties, and slime making and a surprise animal visit sponsored by Science Museum of Long Island.

Get your professional photo taken by local photographer Mack S. Bradley, and don’t forget to wear a costume and enter the Halloween Costume Photo Contest by uploading an event photo with costume on Instagram and tagging @shopmanhasset and #ManhassetTrickOrTreat.

The Manhasset Chamber will be giving away Trick or Treat totes to the first 150 kids. Totes will be pre-filled with goodies from some of our local businesses. The chamber will also have goodies and raffles for all the attendees.

Immediately following the kickoff party, kids will Trick or Treat at participating merchants along Plandome Road from 2 to 5 p.m. Make sure to wear a costume.

Halloween on Plandome is hosted by the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce and made possible by the assistance of Shop Manhasset and our local sponsors. The chamber’s mission is to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life of our community and to promote the general welfare and prosperity of its member businesses.
