Guess Who’s Coming To Read is an annual Manhasset SCA program

in which members of the Manhasset community visit the classrooms at Munsey Park and Shelter Rock. On Jan. 30 and 31, guest readers shared their passion for reading with the elementary school children, how reading has influenced their life and work, and of course read a favorite book to the class.
As per tradition, the identities of the readers are unknown to the students until the readers walk in the door, making this highly anticipated event even more fun and exciting.
The SCA acknowledges the hard work and thanks to Munsey Park co-chairs Joanna Austin and Tricia Dessi and Shelter Rock co-chairs Kathleen Martelli and Anna Oncel for coordinating this memorable day for Manhasset elementary school students.

Elizabeth Johnson is former editor of Manhasset Press and Manhasset Press Magazine. Growing up in nearby Garden City and attending New York University, she is well-versed in the locale and knowledgeable about the beat she covers.
