The Village Club of Sands Point has constructed a new, indoor practice facility at their historic 200-acre facility that was once the estate of Daniel Guggenheim. Located in the top floor of the unique pro-shop (which was once the dairy barn!), PGA certified golf instructor, Karl Obermeyer and his professional staff are already working with many golf-starved individuals.
“Thanks to our new, FlightScope technology, we get instant readings on all facets of a golf swing including ball trajectory, swing planes, and head speed which are displayed on large screen monitors,” Karl proudly explained. “Unlike older swing analyzers, you don’t have to wear any special gear to get the feedback.”
You do not have to be a member of the Club to book a lesson and enjoy the comfortable surroundings that also include a pool table and lots of inviting places to sit, relax and dream about spring.
