Gold Coast Art Center To Hold Cartooning Class

Celebrate Presidents’ Week with an all-day creative program offered at the Gold Coast Arts Center in Great Neck. Gold Coast Arts Center School for the Arts once again offers its popular Vacation Arts program for children in pre-K through seventh grade.
This year’s winter program is on Feb. 19, 20, 21, and 22 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., with activities that include art, music, chess, acting, and dance, taught by experienced instructors. Each day of Vacation Arts is full of activities in a professional and creative environment. Children leave the Arts Center each day happy, confident and proud of what they’ve accomplished in Vacation Arts.
“After experiencing one day at the Gold Coast Arts Center, children want to spend their whole vacation here,” said Ellen Schiff, director, School for the Arts at the Gold Coast Arts Center.
The program takes place at the Gold Coast Arts Center, 113 Middle Neck Rd. in Great Neck. The affordable tuition includes a nut-free snack and a full lunch while offering optimal flexibility for parents. Vacation Arts is also available during Spring recess in April. The Arts Center offers sibling discounts for all camps and classes, and special pricing is available to members.
