Manhasset Girls Scout Troop 531 recently celebrated a milestone by receiving their Silver Award.
The ceremony was held at Carltun on The Green during a lovely brunch. The Flower and Gold Key Ceremony celebrated not only the girls previous achievements in Girl Scouts, but also the symbolic beginning of each girl’s journey toward the highest award in Girl Scouting, The Gold Award.
The members of Manhassset Troop 531 include: Julia Ellinghaus, Emma Gillis, Elizabeth Guariglia, Jamie Orthos, Kristina Rubertone, Victroria Rubertone, Michelle Sciarrino, Marykate Scrobe, Kathryn Shanley, Justine Spina, Gabriella Tranchina, Sophia Urban and Jennie Whalen.
