The Kiwanis International of Manhasset-Port Washington hosted its first annual Pancake Breakfast in Port Washington on Sunday, May 3. The event took place at the Port Washington Senior Center in Manorhaven. This was the inaugural run of the event in Port Washington. The club also runs a pancake breakfast in November in Manhasset.

The breakfast was a fun-filled morning with warm pancakes, sizzling sausage, crispy bacon and fresh fruit. The atmosphere was festive with members of Schreiber High School in attendance helping steer hungry patrons to the breakfast, as well as providing assistance to young children by entertaining them with arts and crafts.

Kiwanis Club meetings are on the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 12:30 p.m. at the Port Washington Yacht Club at One Yacht Club Dr. For more information about what Kiwanis International of Manhasset and Port Washington does, visit them on their Facebook page.
