Extraordinary Artists On Display

Designing Women, a collection of paintings by the Art Department of the Manhasset Community Club, will be on display at the Manhasset Public Library from now until Friday, May 27. Artist_093015C
Come and enjoy luscious flowers, beautiful landscapes, botanicals, still life, beach scenes and sailboats painted by Marilyn Bardolf, Anne Marie Bischoff, Josephine Cippitelli, Fran Gendusa, Cathleen McCarthy, Caroline Mongno, Mimi Rolleri, Sheila Thompson, Inez Valentini and Judy Webb.
Barbara Silbert, noted Long Island artist and instructor for the group, will be showing several of her works at this exhibit.
The Manhasset Community Club is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships each year to deserving students of St. Mary’s High School and Manhasset High School.
It gives donations to many
other local organizations.
The club has been in existence
since 1926 and is proud of their

Elizabeth Johnson is former editor of Manhasset Press and Manhasset Press Magazine.
