These two young Manhasset residents, Megan and Kristin, clearly know where and how to safely cross Plandome Road. Crossing at a marked crosswalk is the safest place to cross any street. Pressing the button triggers the traffic lights to change and stops traffic sooner. Schools are open and Coalition for A Safer Manhasset (CSM) urges students to use caution when crossing the streets, and respectfully reminds drivers to drive carefully and especially watch out for students crossing the roads. Think safety!
