Church Checkbook Stolen

high-streetNassau County police investigating a robbery that took place at a Manhasset church between Jan. 10 & 12.

When the pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church on  High Street arrived at the church, he found that someone hade ransacked his office. Police say someone entered an unlocked basement window, broke a door to the office and took the church checkbook some time between 5 p.m. on Jan. 10 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 12. 

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-8477.  All callers will remain anonymous.
