Car Fire In Manhasset



On Saturday afternoon, May 10, at 3 p.m. Northern Boulevard had all lanes closed westbound at Manhasset Woods Road due to a car fire.  A Ford Taurus station wagon erupted in flames in the former Pearle Vision parking lot at 1649 Northern Blvd. in Manhasset.  The fire was extinguished by Manhasset Lakeville firefighters.  Northern Boulevard was reopened at 4:10 p.m.
