Car Crash On Shelter Rock Road

Late Friday afternoon, October 2, a new model gold Honda Accord crashed into a pole on Shelter Rock Road causing power to be shut down in the surrounding area. Stores on Northern Boulevard from LorAccident_100715Ad & Taylor to Barnes and Noble were darkened by the event. South Strathmore and Strathmore Village were also in the dark. (photo by Sean Dolan)

Police had closed Shelter Rock Road earlier but now have cordoned off traffic to move past the vicinity of the accident which is northbound on Shelter Rock Road by the Gracewood development. No word yet as to the cause of the accident.

Power is slowly being restored to affected areas.
