Author At JCC


    jccSid Jacobson Jewish Community Center will host author Tess Gerritsen on Thursday, March 17 at 10:30 a.m. to discuss her book “Playing with Fire” as part of the JCC’s Author Breakfast and Book Signing series.

    While visiting Rome, Italy, violinist Julia Ansdell buys a piece of sheet music in an antique shop. When Julia returns home to Boston and starts playing the music her three year old daughter Lily has a violent reaction. Julia sets out to discover why this music is causing her daughter to act this way and her quest brings her back to Italy, to the ancient city of Venice. Julia uncovers a dark secret involving a dangerous and powerful family that will stop at nothing to keep her from bringing the truth to light.

    Gerritsen is a New York Times bestselling author and her novels featuring homicide detective Jane Rizzoli and medical examiner Maura Isles inspired the TNT television series “Rizzoli and Isles.”
