Attempted Robbery At Wells Fargo In Manhasset

Nassau County Police Major Case Bureau is investigating an attempted robbery that occurred on Wednesday, December 05, 2018 at 4:27 p.m. in Manhasset.

According to Robbery Squad Detectives, an unknown male white entered the Wells Fargo located at 355 Plandome Rd.  The subject approached the teller and passed a note demanding money.  The teller did not comply and the subject fled on foot out the rear door.  The subject is described as a white male, 30-35 years old, 5’10”-6’0” tall, thin build, wearing a black knit hat, dark plaid scarf, blue jacket and light colored pants.

There were four employees and two customers inside the bank at the time of the robbery.  There were no reported injuries.
