Attempted Burglary In Manhasset


chapNassau County police are investigating an attempted burglary that occurred on Feb. 7 in Manhasset.

Police say at 6:38 p.m., a 75-year-old female victim was upstairs in her Chapel Road home when she heard a loud noise.  When she ran downstairs, the victim saw that someone had kicked in her front door. The subject (no description) fled the scene on foot westbound Chapel Road.  

There were no proceeds or reported injuries.
