100 Days 3Despite the celebration being thrown off by several snow days, St. Mary’s Elementary School marked 100 days of the current school year with projects, activities and lots of learning and fun.
Miss Tesoriero’s kindergartners celebrated being “100 days smarter” by making paper hats, learning to count to 100 with worksheets and a giant wall chart and coloring a certificate from their teacher congratulating each student on their accomplishments.
Mrs. Tripi’s third-grade class colored pictures of each student “if they were 100 today” and filled
in a story on the hundreds of ways they would celebr100 Days 5ate being 100.
Mrs. O’Neill’s third graders counted whether or not it took 100 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie pop.
Miss Orgera’s first-grade class counted 100 stickers, decorated 100 Day crowns and used 100 of any one item, such as lollipops or Legos, to create 100 Day projects the students shared in class. Students also counted out 100 pieces of their favorite cereal and enjoyed a 100 Day breakfast in school. Every class, from the youngest to the oldest, marked 100 Days of School in a unique and creative way.
