The official end of the Long Island Swim League’s summer season took place on Aug 4 and 5. Several area clubs came together on Aug. 4 at Plandome Country Club (CC) to participate in the club championships. The top swimmers from Plandome CC, North Hills CC, Hempstead CC, Rockville Centre CC and North Hempstead CC were on hand to race to see who is the fastest swimmer in each age category.

participated in the 9-10 girls medley relay race.

Despite the heavy rains that came down, swimmers were poised and bravely swam to the finish.

The yacht clubs of Manhasset Bay, Port Washington, Sea Cliff and Douglaston along with Nassau CC and Strathmore Vanderbilt CC swam Sunday at Strathmore.
