Kiwanis Club Golf Outing
Grab a bag of clubs and hit the North Shore Country Club on Monday, July 17, for a day of golf, food, raffles, prizes and fun for the annual Golf Classic sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Manhasset-Port Washington Foundation and Merrill Lynch North Shore Complex. The day begins with breakfast at 10 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 12:15 p.m. A BBQ lunch will be served with refreshments. At 5 p.m., participants will enjoy a cocktail reception at the club followed by dinner and an award presentation. Throughout the day there will be raffles and prizes including an international beer basket, a virtual headset, a smart Fitbit, a bicycle and helmet, wine baskets, a smart TV, golf foursomes and more. The cost for the outing is $350. It is $125 for cocktails and dinner only.
The summer golf outing benefits the YAI’s National Institute for People with Disabilities, Ronald McDonald House, the Pediatric Trauma Kit Program, scholarships for Manhasset and Schreiber High School students, summer camp for six students, local food pantries and local activities including PAL, CYO, Boys and Girls Club and Girl and Boy Scouts.
