Car Wash To Benefit Hurricane Victims

The youth of The Congregational Church of Manhasset are hosting a car wash on May 12, in the main church parking lot. All proceeds raised will go to help rebuild homes for low-income Hurricane Harvey victims. This July, 34 youths will travel to Houston, TX to help others rebuild their homes and lives in the wake of this year’s devastating hurricane.

This Saturday, the youths will be washing cars, and selling baked goods and reusable water bottles to patrons who stop by for a wash. Donations of any size are appreciated. The car wash is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come and have your car washed and help a family in need. The Congregational Church is located at 1845 Northern Blvd., Manhasset. The church parking lot is directly across from the Apple Store at the Americana Manhasset. For more information, contact Rev. Lori Burgess at 516-627–4911.
