Call For Submissions From Writers

Play on location shoot I Can See You

PATV will be taking submissions from Long Island Writers for “The Norman Hall Memorial Playwrights Festival” from now until May 15.

Since 1996, The Playwrights Project has produced and cablecast 28 original one-act plays of all the competition winners, including a behind the scenes documentary. This project was created by the late Norman Hall, former PATV board member and professional TV and stage director. In 2017, Robert M. Schaufeld, PATV board president, renamed the competition in his honor.

The guidelines for submissions are: origin, 15 minutes in length, limited to four characters, one set, no children/animals and two entries per playwright.

Scripts will not be returned.

Mail scripts to: PATV Long Island/Playwrights, 1111 Marcus Ave., Suite LL-27, Lake Success, NY 11042

The prize is a professional television production of the play.
